The Celestial Collection

In 2000, Mattel released one of the most beautiful collections I've seen. It consisted of three dolls and they were all gorgeous! They were based off of the moon, the sun and the stars and each had a unique look to them.
The first one I found was Midnight Moon Princess. I found her in Target on clearance (lucky me!) and snatched her up! She is a pale beauty with long dark hair. Her jewelry is made of pearls (looks like moons) and has a crescent moon dangling over her forehead. Her bracelets are connected by two ropes of pearls and form a crescent shape as they hang from her outstretched arms. Her box is purple and has a full moon sailing among the clouds as a backdrop.

It took me awhile to complete this collection since I didn't buy them when they were in the store. The next doll I bought was Evening Star Princess at a second hand store called Bookman's. She is such a beauty! Her gown is dark blue with gold sparkles and she has a belt with a star hanging at her waist. Her box is dark blue and her background is blue with sparkles, like a night sky.

The final doll in the series, I bought off of Amazon with gift cards I'd saved up. She is Morning Sun Princess and she is spectacular! She is dressed in gold and has an amazing headdress shaped like the rays of the sun as it rises. Her box is light blue and her background is of the morning sky as the sun rises, with light blue sky and golden clouds.

All in all, these dolls were gorgeous and I love the concept of them. They were indeed celestial and they were beauties!
